Exam and Testing Services

Learn more about the tests currently being offered at Ohio State University.

ACTFL Assessments are recognized as the gold standard for language proficiency tests. ACTFL proficiency tests are used worldwide by academic institutions, government agencies and private corporations for purposes such as: academic placement, student assessment, program evaluation, professional certification, hiring, and promotional qualification.

ALTA Language Services provides language proficiency testing for the purposes of language validation for Ohio State. Learn more about language validation here

The Ohio State University Testing Center participates in coordination with many institutions of higher learning as a Correspondence Testing Center in both a paper-based and computer-based formats. Prospective candidates should contact their host institution to verify that Ohio State is an acceptable testing center.

Correspondence testing fees start at $25 per 2 hour session.

The Ohio State University Testing Center is currently not an option for Kryterion testing.

Kryterion is a test service provider for multiple licensure and certification institutions, including Google Cloud and ServiceNow. To learn more, visit the Kryterion website.

Meazure Learning examinations cover higher education examinations, as well as a wide array of various certification examinations. You can schedule a Meazure Learning examination at the Ohio State University by visiting the Meazure Learning website

The ParaPro Assessment measures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals.

Pearson Vue delivers certification and licensure exams for over 600 different exam programs. For Ohio Assessment for Educators and Amazon Web Service exams, you can select the Ohio State University as a location for testing.
