A transcript is the official record of your enrollment at Ohio State. Official transcripts may be issued as hard copy or electronic documents. Transcripts will be issued with security features to ensure authenticity, which include the Registrar's signature, the date issued and the school seal.

Please Note: The Ohio State University does not accept transcript requests from third parties. Per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), only students can authorize the release of their transcripts.

Students must create and maintain their own Parchment account to order transcripts. If you are not the student, creating an account as that student may be viewed as a form of identity theft and fraud. It may also prevent the student from ordering transcripts when using their own account. If we suspect someone other than the student has created an account and requested a transcript, we will cancel the order and notify the student.
