Manually Pick Courses

THIS TYPE OF EXCEPTION SHOULD BE USED RARELY. IF USED, IT SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR COMPLETED COURSES WHERE YOU CAN VERIFY THAT THE COURSES ARE COMPLETE AND WILL MEET REQUIREMENTS. Using this type of exception will override all constraints and put in whatever courses are listed in the exception. If the requirement looks for 10 courses with a C- or better, and you list one course that is an exception, it will ONLY count that one course. If the course was in progress when you posted it, and the student earns a D in the course, it will continue to count.

A valid use case of this is when a student is allowed to repeat a non-repeatable course or to exceed the repeatability limit from SIS.

If you are going to use this exception for any reason other than adjusting the repeatability limit, it is recommended that you consult with your degree audit contact in the Registrar’s office to determine if there may be another way to post the exception you need.
