Prior Learning Assessment for Career Technical Assurance Guide (CTAG) credit

Option for:  Current students | High school students | Transfer students

Students who successfully complete specified high school technical programs or courses may be eligible to have technical credit transfer to Ohio State University. Award of this credit is aligned to a Career Technical Assurance Guide (CTAG).

A student’s individual CTAG credit is available to Ohio State as early as June and as late as September each year. Students who opted in to earn credit during their WebXam will automatically receive transfer credit and will be notified via email once the credit has been processed (anytime between June to September).

Students who did not opt in or are unsure if they opted in during their WebXam should complete the CTAG request form.  By completing the request form students give the Ohio State University Registrar’s office permission to retrieve the Credit Availability Report from the Higher Education Information portal. Completion of the CTAG form does not guarantee award of CTAG credit, the Registrar’s office will need to verify completion first.
