The Ohio State University has developed articulated program pathways with a number of Ohio community colleges and technical institutions. These pathways are designed to provide students the ability to transfer credits efficiently and seamlessly to complete a bachelor's degree in an aligned discipline.

Most of the agreements below enable students to complete the first two years of requirements for a particular major (and earn an associate's degree) and transfer to Ohio State to complete the bachelor's degree.

All but one of the variations of the pathways leads to completion of an associate's degree and a bachelor's degree.

• 1 + 3 = Year 1 at the community college; years 2, 3, and 4 at Ohio State 
• 2 + 2 = Years 1 and 2 at the community college; years 3 and 4 at Ohio State
• 2 + 3 = Years 1 and 2 at the community college; years 2, 3 and 4 at Ohio State
• 2.5 + 2 = Years 1 and 2 plus an additional semester at the community college; years 3 and 4 at Ohio State

The 1 + 1 pathway in Child and Youth Studies (year 1 at the community college; year 2 at Ohio State) leads to an associate's degree at Ohio State.
