ACTFL Assessments are recognized as the gold standard for language proficiency tests. ACTFL proficiency tests are used worldwide by academic institutions, government agencies and private corporations for purposes such as: academic placement, student assessment, program evaluation, professional certification, hiring, and promotional qualification.

The Ohio State University Testing Center participates in coordination with many institutions of higher learning as a Correspondence Testing Center in both a paper-based and computer-based formats. Prospective candidates should contact their host institution to verify that Ohio State is an acceptable testing center.

Test takers can complete exam registration to schedule an appointment.

Correspondence testing fees start at $25 per 2 hour session.

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is offered by The Ohio State University Testing Center on a continual basis. Schedule your appointment.

The fee for the MAT is $78.50, payable by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or money order. We do not accept cash.

The ParaPro Assessment measures the skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math possessed by prospective and practicing paraprofessionals.
