Ohio Residency for Tuition Purposes
Overview
The Ohio State University residency guidelines are established by the Ohio Board of Regents, which is the planning and coordinating agency for higher education in the State of Ohio. To be classified as a resident for tuition purposes, a student must meet the guidelines for residency as defined by the Ohio Board of Regents. The state of Ohio provides a tuition subsidy for all residents of Ohio which is largely funded by the taxpayers of Ohio.
